We want to see a committed and approachable individual who also possesses the knowledge and skills to process weekly payroll.
To be an ideal candidate for the human resources position, you should hold an HR-related degree and have FMLA experience.
Ultimately, you'll ensure our HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire and retain our employees as well as approve FMLA requests.
Responsibilities Day to day operations of the HR functions and duties Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements Recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process Manage employee FMLA requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Weekly in-house payroll processing and tax remittances Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees Process weekly payroll Ensure timesheet exports are in accordance with union requirements Track and maintain benefits Requirements and Skills Experience in HR and payroll processing Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc) Understanding of labor laws in PA and WV and FMLA Strong ethics and reliability Outstanding organizational skills Excellent communications skills HR Credentials Job Type:
